Temporary closure of the Castle Chapel due to necessary restoration work
During this period, guided tours will include the historic castle rooms, the castle kitchen and (if possible) the castle theatre. A 3D film will be available as an alternative to provide insights into the castle chapel.

12 January 2026 and 20 February 2026:
Restrictions for visitors and guided tours in the historic state rooms due to major construction work
The first and second floors of the state rooms will be closed to the public one after the other. Both floors will be closed simultaneously from 3 February to 9 February 2026.
Public tours will continue to be offered and will use the rooms that are open at the time. During the double closure, alternative tours will be offered in the remaining areas.
Accessibility to the remaining museum rooms will continue to be guaranteed (by lift).
